Book The Spark.

Pole Spark.

This series is for all who are brand new to pole, returning after a hiatus, and for anyone who is interested in revisiting the fundamentals.  Once you have completed the series you will be eligible and invited to join other drop-in classes.

This progressive 4-week series is your launching pad! In a small group format, we will learn and train some of the fundamental building blocks of a healthy and rewarding pole path.  Each student will receive individualized attention as a healthy supplement to group instruction.  We strive to accommodate a broad range of body types and fitness levels, and to give all clients the opportunity to experience the magic of pole dancing.

Each class starts with a fun, thoughtful and invigorating warmup that will prime us for the rest of class.  This part of class turns down the volume of the stressors of the day and turns up our bodily self-awareness… read the full description and book here.

Our 4-week intro to beginner pole series

Hot Shots.

This class is for anyone with a VERY extensive movement background such as current/former strippers, elite dancers or gymnasts.  “Hot Shots” is also the place to start if you have taken several pole classes at other studios within the last two months.  If you have a background in pole that you consider extensive but it’s been a while since you have been in the “saddle”, you are also welcome to sign up for this class.  After you have taken your first Hot Shots class, I will suggest specific classes in our weekly schedule that are appropriate for your level.

Hot Shots warmup and conditioning will get us ready to tackle a fairly broad range of skills.  We will cover more material in one Hot Shots class than in about two of our other entry-level classes.  The reason for this acceleration is so that we can identify the right classes for each student going forward… read the full description and book here

An alternative entry into pole classes at Sanctuary

POLE GENESIS.

Please be aware that “Pole Genesis” is restricted to students who have completed our beginner series or have obtained clearance from Sanctuary staff.

To prepare us to make the most of our experience, we ensure a generous warmup and targeted conditioning. Building on the beginner series, we continue to learn foundational grips, spins, steps, holds, and transitions.

Using drills, sequences, and guided movement explorations… read the full description and book here.

Taking root

FLOW-ASIS

For seasoned beginners and beyond.  Seek approval from Sanctuary staff prior to registering for Flow-asis.

This class is where we prioritize attention on transitions on static and spinning pole.  We get comfortable moving between different levels on the floor and the pole and we start dancing up the pole.

We will dance short sequences to integrate what we have learned.  We will also be offered opportunities for free dance and dancing within given parameters… read the full description and book here.

Finding and feeling flow

OPEN STUDIO

For safety reasons, all open studio clients who will be using a pole must either have taken at least one pole class at Sanctuary OR have been pre-approved by Sanctuary staff.  If you want permission, give us a call or send us a DM on IG.

Open Pole is an opportunity to practice what you have learned in class and to explore within that realm.  This is not the time to try getting into a trick you have never tried.  Once we get to know you, we can revisit this standard… read the full description and book here.

KARMA POLE-EASE.

Accrue karma

Seek approval from Sanctuary staff prior to registering for Karma Pole-Ease.

At Sanctuary, we are big on karma.  In order to unleash more of our potential in pole dance and movement in general, we take time to condition our bodies on and off the pole.   The payoff for devoting time and attention to our movement goals is… leveling up.  (Let me say that again… shouting from the rooftops!!!)

Whether we want to get our splits for the first time, touch our toes, be able to hold our body weight on the pole, improve our grip strength, prevent injury, etc, this bespoke conditioning class helps us accrue the karma we need to embody our movement goals… read the full description and book here.
